A 12-inch desk globe with a highly detailed world map, fine cartographic labelling, country borders, and geographic features, on a metal base with an antique brass ring. The metal base is the key difference from its wooden-base sibling, giving this a slightly more contemporary material feel while retaining the same antique brass ring and globe finish. A practical range extension SKU for retailers who want to offer two versions of the large desk globe without adding a new size. The detailed map adds reference value that appeals to geography enthusiasts and serious collectors.
